There is an old saying that you cant make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, and in the main that is true. However before breaking them if you plan the tasks out, make sure you have all the tooling needs and scenarios considered, the end result can be even better than expected.
This project planning was exactly that, prior discussion, planning and scheduling with realistic timeframes and then a final commitment from all involved that this is the correct way forward.
We had 3 days to get this into a condition where the plasterer and decorator can attend to keep the lost revenue from the rooms to a minimum, on lunchtime on day two we are re-boarding the ceiling, one day ahead of plan!
