We were asked by our customer to provide them with compliant and fire stopped seals around the lift entrances following a lift replacement programme. whilst the entrances are fire rated, the gap that is left following the removal of the old and replacement of new impacts the integrity of the fire compartmentation on each floor which needs to be addressed.

Our fitters worked within the programme for the lift replacement to ensure that the entrances were fully sealed and certified before the landing architraves were fitted. We then returned to fit bespoke made to measure architraves to suit each landing giving a fantastic finish to our part of the project.

The compliance report was recorded and logged, and the clients lift replacement programme remained on target!
