This has been a challenging project to complete in the midst of summer, but the client is an very busy high school so needed to keep the refurbishment works within the boundaries of the school holiday period.
The project included just under 20 head of wall partition sealing details, along with multiple cable and pipe penetrations. To add to that, we fitted fire rated access panels to maintain the compartmentation to the zones within this old school loft space.
This project took 3 weeks of continuous work, in an environment that wasn’t the best place to be with all the recent heat and humidity, but we did it! As we cleaned down the work area, and removed the scaffold and lighting, we could see the real benefit of the hard work. The level of waste removed after the works were completed shows the volume. over 1000 tubes of FR Acrylic, 30 tubs of ablative fluid, over 100 fire batt, several meters of tape, screws and washers and plenty of water bottles to rehydrate!
We also cleaned the glass roof as an added bonus for the end client, all in all a successful project delivered. Happy client, happy end customer, and a team at Triniti3 who are pleased to deliver.
